The Nigerian entertainment industry has been thrown into mourning as singer and songwriter Lanre Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan is dead.
The family sent out an official statement which was shared on Instagram by Efe Omoregbe who is 2baba's manager.
The 44 years old Jagbajantis crooner, lost it to his battle with cancer of the throat.
In the announcement, Dr Kayode Fasasi, signed on behalf of the late singer's family.
According to him, Sound Sultan died on the morning of Sunday, July 11. he was said to have had a battle with angioimmunoblastic t-cell lymphoma.
